Public Participation Plan

The City of Bessemer is considering adopting a Public Participation Plan to ensure we reach out to the public as much as feasible. The Planning Commission will be hosting a Public Hearing on May 1st at 5:30 to receive feedback. Check out our draft here.

 

The City of Bessemer Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at its’ regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, May 1st, 2018, Bessemer City Council Chambers, City Hall, 411 South Sophie Street, Bessemer, Michigan 49911 at 5:30 p.m. at which time they will receive public comment regarding a Public Participation Plan. The public may appear at the public hearing in person or by counsel, be heard, and submit evidence and written comments with respect to Capital Improvement Plan. Written comments may be submitted to the above address, ATTN:  Clerk, from now until 4:00 p.m. Monday April 2.

 

The City of Bessemer will, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities to allow equal participation in this meeting. Such aids may include qualified sign language interpreters, documents in Braille, and other ways of making information and communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing, or vision impairments.
