Several weeks ago the City of Bessemer stopped shutting off water for lack of payment through this pandemic. We also turned on water for people who had been shut off for lack of payment. If City Hall remains closed beyond April 20th, which is our due date for water bills, we will not be assessing late fees. We are still taking payments through the mail, at our dropbox, and online below.
